Don Carter State Park
Georgia state park at the far north end of the lake with boat ramps and docks reaching both Lanier and the Chattahoochee River, plus cottages, campsites and trails. A daily ParkPass is required for parking, and the designated swim beach has been closed because of low water.
This ramp is run by the state park and isn’t on the Corps of Engineers’ ramp elevation list, so we can’t say lane by lane whether it’s usable at today’s level. Call the park before you tow. See every Corps ramp on the lake.
